For this week, Ms Jinchi briefed us on how to write critical review. She told us to analyze it critically and choose research articles which relates to our research topic.

CRITICAL REVIEW

For our critical review, we were tasked to find and analyze 7 research articles which are related to our research topic. This is to allow us to learn on how to evaluate and read critically on research articles which will help us in our research paper.

I was quite confused on how to do it initially then I started by following the template Ms Jinchi gave.



First draft :
As this was my first draft, my critical review is not fully completed yet. It took me quite some time to search for articles as there are not much articles on graphic design related to healthcare.



Feedback : 
For my research articles, miss told me that the research articles which I found could relate to my research topic as I get to learn about evaluating graphic elements which is also part of graphic design.

For my critical review, miss told me that it is not necessary to write down the authors name again as it was already shown in the beginning. She also said that inductive reasoning is related to qualitative research and not quantitative research. Miss also told me to include "of the paper" for the conclusion of paper to not get confused with my review conclusion and the research article conclusion. There were also a few grammar errors which I should take note of. Miss also told me to comment on the type of research whether if it was reliable or equal to support the comment I made in the review. Other than that, it was overall fine.

Relevance of research: Research is relevant and most are recent ones.
Clarity of examination: Rather substantial, overall. Summaries for all articles are concise and critiques are thorough and very articulated. Critical Review 4’s bibliography should be written in APA style
