INSTRUCTION

EXERCISE

(1)Quantifiable Information

For this exercise, we were tasked to quantify raw data and visualize information as a photograph.
We were given either a set of legos or buttons to organize and categorize them on a piece of A4 paper.

I chose to organize a set of legos. I realized it was really hard for me to arrange the pieces in a table cause there were too many variation and unique pieces. So I organized the pieces based on categories: bricks, slopes, plates, flats, rounds and homeless (pieces with unique features).

My concept is a treasure map with different islands and the slopes act as steps.

 (2) L.A.T.C.H Pokemon
For this exercise, we were tasked to create a poster which shows L.A.T.C.H aspects with 4 Pokemons in total. For my poster, I decided to choose the battle of Elite Four in Pokemon Emerald.

The information I gotten are from the Gameboy Advanced Pokemon Emerald game, with image references of the building, floors and pokemon used in each level.

L - Pokemon League, Ever Grande City.

A - Absol, Banette, Glalie, Salamance
T - The time taken for each level of the building in linear form
C - Dark, Ghost, Ice, Dragon type of pokemon
H - The pokemon level in game from each floor and difficulty rating.
