PROJECT 1

Sound Fundamentals (Lecture) & Equalizer tutorials

Week 2 : Parametric Equalizer 
For our first sound lecture, Mr Razif gave us a lecture about the fundamentals and properties about sound. He also taught us about the basics of Adobe Audition such as parametric equalizer. It can be used to edit the bass and treble of a audio file accordingly. 

Then we were given 1 original sound clip and 6 modified sound clips. Our task is to equalize the modified sound clips as similar as possible to the original sound clip.

Week 3 : Sound Reverb
For this week, Mr Razif taught us on how to edit the sounds to create a sense of location using sound reverb including hard limiter and parametric equalizer which we learn previously. We were tasked to edit the sound as if it's coming from a telephone, closet and stadium.

Week 5 : Editing Sound Effects
For this week, we learnt about how to edit sound effects using tools such as EQ, Layering, Pitch Shift, Stretch, Invert/Reverse, Echo and Delay. Then, we were tasked to edit a sample explosion sound file to enhance the sound effects and combine a sample punch sound file into a triple punch sound effect.
